W.A.R.M.T.H. - Widows Ministry

W.A.R.M.T.H. (Women are Ready Made to Help) is a group of widows at CBC whose goal is to help and encourage one another in this season of life. We gather in various homes on the first Friday of every month for fellowship and encouragement, and we are open to any widowed woman who would like to be part of what God’s doing among us.

This group's mission is to come alongside the widow's hurting heart bringing WARMTH through the balm and solace of the Holy Spirit, while being attentive to the Word of God and prayer, and bonding in the love and joy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to encourage widowed women to be refreshed in the irrevocable “gifts and the calling of God” (Romans 11:29) in His life purpose for women--helpmeets. 

Although your gifts may have been used differently, God's design and purpose for you is not lost...you have great worth! Come and see that God transforms and continues to use the gifts He created in you for His purpose. If you are a widowed woman, you are invited to re-focus with us as we learn together to find God's peace, revitalizing presence, renewed purpose and growth through grief in a safe and caring place. May our Lord become our "consuming fire" to warm and fuel faith through darkness to light the way for others!
